Friedreich's ataxia is a rare disorder that affects the nervous system and leads to progressive damage to the spinal cord. Currently, there is no treatment available.

The goal of FA is to connect and empower FAers worldwide in the search for a cure for Friedreich's ataxia.

I designed a series of motor, speech, and mood tests that form the core of the underlying research study.

Researchers developed the test content, and my goal was to translate it into an intuitive mobile app interface. I also introduced and designed small rewards along the way to keep the study participants motivated.
