I build community by creating opportunities for designers to explore, experiment, and learn in an honest way — away from the pressure to always show polish and success.

Over the last three years at STRV, I've run a range of formats, each bringing something different. Design Circles gathers 50 designers around controversial topics to discuss openly. Behind the Design shows the work that never shipped. Design Lab is a fast-paced workshop where 20 people split into two groups exploring contrasting sides of a design problem.

Design Academy is where I focus the most energy. It's a five-week intensive for junior designers, intentionally selective — 16 hand-picked students, 14 of whom graduated. I direct it end to end: curriculum, lectures, brand, platform — with a 4.9 average rating from every student who went through it.

Beyond the academy, I also lecture at Mendel University and mentor junior designers one-on-one.
